Providing information concerning services available for people with disabilities in Massachusetts and especially the services available to people who have a spinal cord injury. The booklet is divided into three topics: services, equipment, and published material. Each topic is further divided into several sections. Services include information on architectural barriers, housing, drivers with disabilities, legal and tax information, Supplemental Security Income, the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, education, employment, sex for people with disabilities, and organizations concerned with paraplegia. Equipment includes resources for wheelchairs, ramps, lifts, typewriters, telephone equipment, and environmental control systems. Published material includes subscription publications, resource publications, general interest books, information on accessibility and travel, sports and recreation, and order forms. Contact information for various committees, organizations, and departments are provided.
