McCormack informs John Welch that he will call Welch's office a couple of weeks before the French Open to zero in on a day that they might get together there. He provides the dates he will be doing a small golf outing in Ireland in September and will send Welch more information in a couple of months in case he might be able to come. McCormack also notes that the Nobel ideas he left with Welch are unique, not expensive, and not really sponsorships.
