'My great great grandfather owned this ship & his son Abraham Osborn, Jr. was the captain at the time Captain Semmes of the Alabama sunk it. This was the 1st ship sunk during the Civil War. The Ocmulgee was looted, burned and sunk near the Island of Azores in September 6, 1862.'
