'As a student at UMB I was working with kids at Columbia Point taking them mountain climbing and backpacking for a week at a time. Pictured, from back to front, left to right: Greg Sanaford (30 years pressman at the Boston Globe, retired), myself John Clifford, David Sullivan, Michael Orty (house painter), Walter (in and out of jail), Felton Sealey (3rd time All-American at U of Oregon, Tryout Phoenix Suns, international basketball coach), John Kendall (truck driver, last year had a major stroke), and Madison Singleton (in and out of jobs and relationships).
