'This photo of myself was taken shortly after I returned from Vietnam. I was on way aboard ship being in Quincy, Mass. I served in Vietnam from 1968-1969. In 1962 I graduated from Wayland High School when it was first built on Old Connecticut Path. I worked for town for 2 years in the Parks Department and then I enlisted in the U.S.Navy and 20 years later I retired in 1984. At naval base Newport, Rhode Island and worked as rigger and truck driver retired from the government in 2002 with 36 years of government service. Pictured: Richard P. Turner.'
