Letter of July 12, 1/56 from A.L. Teel to his brother George, talking about general family and financial affairs, hoping that George will still come and visit some time. George is doing very well farming and exploiting a coal mine in Wisconsin. Their mother has fixed up the family house with money from their father's legacy. The Unitarian church burned down, they're building a replacement and closed a road, which townsfolk are protesting.
