This is the first issue of the Association Seminar, published over a year after the Association Outlook stopped being issued. The numbering on this issue is weird. In print form it originally was going to be vol. 1 no. 1, but after this issue it was decided that the Association Seminar should continue where the Association Outlook left off and the November issue was called vol. 10 no. 1. This issue actually, especially because it continues the article by Jacob Bowne in the old Association Outlook, was always included with volume 9 as issue number 10. It is hard to tell from the scan, but the first page has a handwritten vol. 9 no. 10 written on it. The Association Seminar was published from October, 1901 to February, 1918. It replaced the Association Outlook which ceased publication after its July, 1900 edition, and the departure of Dr. Luther Halsey Gulick, who was the main editor of the publication.
