This is one version of the first edition of the Association Outlook. This version is smaller in physical size, having only one column per page, and does not include the Training School Notes which is part of version 1. Beginning in January 1897 as a part of the International Association Training School Notes, the Association Outlook was published from October 1897 through July 1900. It was eventually, after a year hiatus, replaced by the Association Seminar in October, 1901. The Association Outlook replaced or, rather, expanded the Training School Notes which was first published in February 1892. The Training School Notes continued as a section within the Association Outlook, listing events and activities at the International YMCA Training School, now Springfield College, as well as news on and from the Alumni of the school.
