Wilson says that he and the Boston School Committee are ready to assume responsibility for the school system. Wilson also says that he is committed to desegregated and accessible schools. Wilson notes that the politics surrounding his selection to the post are in the past. He adds that he has not made any decisions regarding personnel or program changes.
