Silver hand warmer, inscribed. On the front is inscribed "Daniel Shatford. 1745". The writing is encircled by a symetrical decorative wave-like pattern. There is a second decoration around the edge, with loose (frog) knots in the corners. On the back of the same piece is inscribed "I.Shaw". The first piece pulls out of the second, which has a decorative back and an open front. The back has small holes in it, pierced in a decorative pattern, with several loops surrounded by a square surrounded by some semi-circles. About 5" x 2.25" 0.75" .
