From a series of audio recordings with members of Boston's Black community about the busing crisis of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Teixeira was a co-chair of the Community District Advisory Council for District I. Discussion of establishment and structure of districts parents' councils within each district (the Ethnic Parents Councils); impact of busing: South Boston High has improved, not declined; violence and anger in Southie and Charlestown; panel choosing books for schools; School Committee; Superintendents Laval Wilson, Bud Spillane.
