Policeman in front of the drugstore where Vincent Coll was killed
Description:
"The drug store on the lower west side of New York City in which Vincent Coll, 24 year old gangster, recently acquitted of the slaying of a five year old boy in the Harlem 'Baby Killing' last summer, was killed late in the evening of Feb. 7. Coll had entered a telephone booth and was phoning when a gunman entered with a machine gun and pumped L" bullets into his body. It is believed members of "Dutch" Schultz's gang, a rival in the beer racket, eliminated the notorious young gangster from police records."
