Letter of Attorney appointing Robert Latham of Groton "in our stead & place put Robert Latham of said Town of Groton, and by those present do make, constitute & appoint and in our stead and place put the said Robert Latham to be our true and lawful attorney for us and each of us in our name & for our use benefit and behalf to ask, demand, sue for recover & receive all such sum or sums of money, Debts, dues and demands, legacies & devices as may or shall be due, owing or accruing, or given and franted to either or both of us, particularly to obtain receive prossess and bargain and sell all & such right, title and interest as Sabra Latham one of the Constituents had, has or ought to have in and to the Estate of her late honored father Daniel Read, and also in & to the Estate of her late decased brother, Roger Read.."
