There is a flat surface with an applied molded crest railing hinged to a slanted writing surface covered with dark brown vinal. It has an incised case with applied molding, supported by carved and incised V-shaped brackets. There are four incised drawers on the right side and four incised mock front drawers on the left side. All have brass pulls mounted on carved and incised rectangular brass plates. Two incised vertical front panels and two plain back panels are encased in flat molding with chamfered edges from a case for the drawers. It has a heavy rectangular and horizontal base above four ball feet. The top of the desk is removable. There is also a removable rectangular open front box with vertical panels in an interior case.
