Laun. Louis Laun graduated in 1915 from the International YMCA College, now known as Springfield College. Laun was raised in Waterville, Connecticut. Before attending Springfield College, he was a member of the Waterville Turnverein gymnastic team and the Association leaders' corp. From 1911 to 1912, he worked as a physical instructor at a boys' club in Plymouth, Connecticut. While at Springfield College, he was a member of the International Literary Society and the Student Senate.
