The 1952 Springfield College Summer School consists of a two and a half week intersession and a five week summer session. The catalog provides a list of faculty, administrative staff, resident teachers and visiting teachers and lecturers as well as a brief description and photograph of each of the visiting professors. The catalog includes information regarding fees, registration, class schedule as well as a statement of purpose. Highlighted in the catalog are graduate classes offered at Jacob's Pillow, "The University of the Dance" under the direction of Ted Shawn and a new program for counselor preparation which will be offered in the fall with classes available during the summer session. The last few pages of the catalog provide images of Springfield College's campus including the new woman's dormitory, Abbey Hall.
