Letter from Mark H. McCormack to William L. Savestrom
Description:
McCormack responds to William L. Savestrom's letter of March 29, corrects him on the fee for the golf outing and explains why it is necessitated. He explains that this figure is higher because it includes transportation costs and prize money, and because the field will be made up entirely of Americans. He informs Savestrom that he is correct that there are only six professionals, including Arnold Palmer, Tommy Aaron, Chi Chi Rodriguez, and two others. McCormack requests final confirmation from Savestrom immediately so he can check the date on the schedules of the players.
