Charlmont 153 --Caption title. Width of road: 25 ft. Traveled way: width 18 ft., grade 0 ft. per 100. Surface: flat, uneven, soft, loose sand 4 in.deep material: sand, with a very small per cent. of gravel sides: right, slopes up gradually from gutter, left, slopes up from edge of road gutters: right, 3 in. deep, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Sides being higher than travelled way, all surface water flows on to it as right gutter is too shallow.
