This dose glass was created between 1890 and 1930 by the E. S. Burnham Company in New York City for use with "Burnham's Beef, Wine, and Iron great restorative tonic". It was owned by James Cotter, who kept it in his personal collection. In 2008, Mr. Cotter's wife, Mr. James Holland Cotter, donated this glass and other medical instruments and paraphernalia to the Warren Anatomical Museum.
