Silver-colored bivalve nasal speculum. Handles are curved and ridged. When squeezed, handles move inward and speculum tip widens and splits into two pieces.

This bivalve nasal speculum was created by the firm of John Reynders and Company in New York City between 1875 and 1900. It was found in the A. H. Blake collection in the Warren Anatomical Museum.
