Regarding race discrimination in education and musing on its possible origins, one of which might be "a school curriculum devoid of any suggestion of Negro beauty, in mind, body or soul" and asking after Du Bois's opinion on "the possibility of a series of reading books based on Negro life" and redacted in terms as idyllic as those "based on white child idealism."
