In this interview, Mary Truong recalls living in Tai Ninh, a small province outside of Saigon before 1975. She describes her familys attempt to leave Vietnam before the Communist takeover. Mary Truong talks about her fear while trying to leave Saigon and the delays that kept occurring. She describes eventually landing in Pennsylvania and talks about her adjustment to living in America.
