Metropolitan Transit Authority books being shelved in Dodge Library
Description:
"MTA BOOKS TO NU--Many books, periodicals, and pamphlets dealing with the practical aspects of transportation, have been added to the shelves of Northeastern University's Dodge Library. Northeastern was one of several educational and historical institutions and libraries which received materials from the Metropolitan Transit Authority. After selecting what it wanted from its technical library, the MTA distributed the remainder of the material, upon its move to new quarters in Jamaica Plain. Left to right are: Louis J. Mathieu, 78 Fieldstone Road, Westwood, assistant in the office of the general manager, MTA; Paul K. Lambert, director of Northeastern's Institute of Transportation and Traffic Management; and Professor Albert M. Donley, Jr., assistant director of Northeastern's Dodge Library.
