This is raw footage for ¡Colores! #1914 featuring an interview with photographer Michael Berman. The land inspires him as an artist because it is a space to go off alone in. The ability to set things aside and look at something new is wonderful. He chose art rather than ecology when he was in school because a professor invited him to work with him and his Peregrine Falcons in the summer. He thought that if he became a photographer, he could do anything he wanted and go anywhere. The real issue of the landscape is who gets to use it.
