Bullet mold - Military - Ammunition Shelf. 1775 Revolution. 3". Ball size approximately 3/8" - for small pistol. Has edge for sprue cutter on surviving handle. Possibly from a later date? Made from two pieces connected in the center by a small screw. The bullet mold is made from two pieces, each with a hemi-spherical negative of the bullet. The outside of the mold is circular with a flat face on the front and back. The surface of the bullet mold has visible file marks from manufacture. Small Iron bullet mold said to have been used during the Revolution in Crocker Homestead, Marblehead, Ma. Presented by descendent, Gertrude Crocker
