<mods:abstract>This album is bound in black leather and is embossed with gold lettering reading "R. Sturges" on the binding. It includes seventeen sepia tone prints, including eight exterior views and nine interior views. The exterior views show the brick facade with windows, a columned front entrance, and wrought iron fence and front gate. The interior views highlight neo-classical features such as fireplaces, marble floors, and niches. Other features include scenic wallpaper (see images 16 and 17), panelling, moldings and an elaborate stairway. A walled-in garden area displays sculptures and other design elements.</mods:abstract>
