Letter from Joseph Langland to Judith G. Wood Langland
Description:
Reporters from the New York Times interviewing about Langland's survey of fraternization. Attended the opera with friends. Will start to send home excess clothing. Plans in the sky today are "sort of doing a patrol for the election to remind the German people that they had better conduct it in an orderly manner... There are at to be a lot of minor violences (what language in Germany before the occupation is over, as the total feeling if far from friendly. Such as the murder of the three M.G. officers at Passau, one of whom I knew very well from Augsburg."
