Hilprecht responds to a letter from Lyman. He addresses a matter of candidates for the presidency of the Archeological Department at the University of Pennsylvania, primarily Mr. Daniel Baugh and Mr. C. H. Clark, and notes that the Board needs to be sure that one of them accepts the candidacy. The included envelope is addressed to Lyman in Philadelphia.
