London informs Lyman of the plagiarism of his paper "Japanese Swords" by Sir Edwin Arnold, which appeared as "The Sword of Japan" in the Daily Telegraph, April 22, 1893. London tells Lyman that he has sent a notice to be printed in several magazines. The included envelop is addressed to Lyman at the Numismatic and Antiquarian Society, and has a note in pencil "English plagiarism of Lyman on Swords." A copy of Sir Edwin Arnold's article is included in the folder, but has not been scanned.
