Plaque to fallen Springfield College Graduates in World War II

A digital representation of a plaque created to commemorate fallen Springfield College students from the class of 1941 during World War II. Included on the plaque is a picture and their rank. Listed are Herbert L. Bitzer, Victor A. Lewis, Joseph G. Mallen, Lee A. Wheelock, Robert H. Woodward, Quentin B Hurbert, Albert P. Fong, and Raymond B. Cook. There is a poem in the center that was written by H.L. It is believed that this was Harold Lynch who was a graduate of the class and also the director of Alumni Relations at Springfield College.

The original plaque no longer exists. The plaque had some water damage and mold. It was decided that a digital representative would be made and a paper copy placed within the physical collection.;
