A letter from Laurence L. Doggett to Charles B. Marvin dated September 14, 1917. In the letter Doggett tells Marvin that his mother has sent a letter to Doggett and that she is worried that he is being lead away from the true faith and that she would like him to go to a different school. Doggett gives him a few options on what he could do and tells him that he will do well with whatever he decides to do.

Charles B. Marvin (1896-1976) attended Springfield College from 1914-1917 and is listed as an alumni of 1918. He served in both world wars and continued to serve in the Air Force Reserves for thirty eight years. He died in 1976 at the age of 80.
