A three-page letter from Roland Moore Jones to Laurence L. Doggett dated November 28, 1916. In the letter Jones tells Doggett about were he is and what he is doing, as well as giving praise to the Y. M. C. A. association workers and all there activities. He also asks Doggett if he can have an extension on his loan and if some arrangement could be made in regards to how he pays it off.

Roland Moore Jones graduated from the secretarial program at Springfield College in 1916. He immediately enlisted in the Canadian army medical corps and was killed-in-action at Vimy ridge on October 10, 1917.
It is not known to us why the top right cornner of the letters was cut off but they were.
