A letter from Laurence L. Doggett to Charles H Line dated November 16, 1916. In the letter Doggett expresses his sadness at the loss of another student and is asking Line if there is a picture of his brother, Schuyler W Line, that he can put with the others that have passed since the war started.

Schuyler W. Line was a Springfield College (at the time known as the International YMCA College) student, Class of 1916. He attended the school from September 1913 to May 1916 when he had to leave because his daughter became seriously ill. That same year he join in association work for the soldiers but died from an automobile accident. Charles H. Line graduated from Springfield College, at the time known as the International YMCA College, in 1913. In 1917 he would begin working for the Fuller Brush Company and continue to work for them until his retirement in 1945. He died in 1969.
