Leon Charles Mann came to Springfield College in 1906 and graduated with a bachelors in humanics in 1909. He was the general secretary of the Y.M.C.A of France from 1909 to 1914 when he enlisted in the french army to help out in world war 1. Later on in his life he became a pastor in Clairac (lot et garonne) France.
