Bernard writes to Shirley explaining a financial report that he sent her. Also, Bernard writes that he he has received from Messner "various copies of the Thai edition of George Washington Carver, as well as abridged edition published in France in paperback" and he would like to know what he should do with them. He would like to know about Shirley's reaction to the Carnegie Hall Memorial meeting and that the "real highlight was the reading of your message."
