Description:
Shirley writes to Bernard how much the recent events leading to her having to leave Ghana has effected her. Shirley also writes that she has contacted her grandson explain why she could no longer "give him financial assistance." A defense committee has been formed in London and "is putting out literature with facts." Shirley continues to write that she is living comfortability in the hotel but the "bill is making a tremendous hole in the dike."
