This circular, wooden plaque celebrates the trip taken by the Springfield College women’s Field team in 1990 to Barbados, where they competed in the Banks Festival Five (now called the Banks International Hockey Festival). Carved into the plaque is the outline of Barbados and lines dissecting the country by its eleven parishes. On either side are engravings on palm trees. At the bottom is a picture of team.

During the tournament, they scored fifty goals against sixteen teams. During their regular season, they had a 15-3-3 record. They were led by Coach Dottie Zenaty, who began coaching at Springfield College in 1970. It was during this season that she reached her 200th Springfield College career victory, was inducted into the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame, and was recognized as the Division I National “Coach of the Year.”
