  <mods:note>George Henry Winslow (April 3, 1863 – May 6, 1946) was born in Ware, Massachusetts, and is a direct descendent of pilgrims from the Mayflower. On February 5, 1885, he married Mary A. Greenwood, “an earnest Christian young lady.” From 1900 to 1903, he served as the Railroad Secretary in Kansas City, Missouri (1900-1903), New Decatur, Alabama (1905-1907), and Washington, D.C. (1907-1923). Winslow died on May 6, 1946.</mods:note>
