Robert McNamara (emerging from a car) confronted by antiwar students at Harvard University
Description:
From I and Eye: "Robert McNamara confronted by Harvard College students in the yard, Cambridge, 1965. He was considered the ultimate warmonger at the time." As Secretary of Defense McNamara attempted to leave the school where he had addressed a group of students, he was surrounded by protesters who demanded a debate, and was then shouted down by members of Students for a Democratic Society. When McNamara attempted to get in his automobile to leave, he was surrounded by demonstrators, after which the police escorted him off campus.
