Louis J. Ampolo was a professor at Springfield College. He had a Master's degree from Springfield College and professional training in all forms of dance, music and theatre at the Ballet Russe School of Ballet in New York and with the American Theatre Wing of New York City. He was the director of SC Exhibition Dancers in the 1970s and 80s.
