  <mods:note>Mr. Bennet was part of the college’s football team in the 1995 season and he was also part of the Pride, the colleges Basketball team in the 1994, 1995, and 1996 season. After graduating from Springfield College with his master's degree in 1997 (he graduated with his bachelor's in 1995), Bennett stayed in Springfield as an assistant before moving on as an assistant at Temple University. That was followed by a three-year stint at Syracuse under men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim. Then he went to Michigan State before arriving at Skidmore College in 2004. At Skidmore, Mr. Bennet led the team to back-to-back Liberty League Tournament appearances in 2009 and 2010 and its first ever Liberty League title and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 2015.
