Notes:
Mangano was a four-year starter at first base and a team captain in her junior and senior seasons at Springfield College. In 1985, she was selected to the Converse All-American and All-New England First-Teams. In 1988, she earned her MED from her alma mater and began working there as the school’s softball coach. This four-time conference Coach of the Year has won more games than any coach in the program’s history (458), and ranks among the national leaders in victories among active Division III coaches. Since Springfield College moved to Division III in 1996, the softball program has posted a 331-219-1 (.602) mark, with five teams advancing to the NCAA tournament. In 2007, she earned her Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts.
