  <mods:abstract>This item consists of two separate documents mounted on the same piece of cardboard. On one side is a contract leasing Woods Hall to the Student Young Men's Christian Association for the 1919-1920 academic year for a cost of $1000. The other side is the Constitution of the Student's Insurance and Alliance of Springfield College which was organized to defray the expenses associated with any athletic accident. It is unclear as to how or even if these two items are related to each other. For more information on each item see the information for each page.</mods:abstract>
  <mods:note>This item has been significantly damaged. The cardboard has been split in half tearing the documents in half. Additionally, the Contract for Woods Hall has some tears in it.</mods:note>
