Rosewood drumsticks. The sticks are varnished and the grain of the wood is highly visible. There are two thin circles cut around the drumsticks in the surface of the wood about 3 inches from the end. The sticks taper in until the tip, which is oval and significantly wider than the stick right beneath. Supposedly used by Joseph Dixon (Dickson) in the War of 1812. Goes with the drum in 1933.1.1A.
