A window in between the eaves is hung with blue and white curtains. A bed, made up with a pink comforter, fits in between the eaves, and a bedside table with a lamp is positioned next to the bed. Residencia Betances provided housing for previously homeless Hispanics suffering from mental illness and was staffed by bilingual staff twenty-four hours a day.
