This collection consists of a representative sampling of photographs from the Sharon Historical Society's archives dating from 1860-1980. The collection includes depictions of important Sharon residents, historic houses, businesses, schools, and government buildings, as well as views of Sharon streets and natural features such as Lake Massapoag. Also depicted are important events in the town's history such as the Hurricane of 1938, town parades, and home front activities during World War II.
