The Ipswich Middle School drama department presented performances of Grease on April 11 and 12, 1989. The musical was directed by Tony Godwin and choreographed by Chris Piscitelli and Janet Taisey Craft. In this 36 x 28 cm photograph, students from the cast pose outside of the R.C. Whipple Memorial School building, which housed the middle school at that time and is now the Town Hall of Ipswich. The photo is undated and the photographer is unknown.
