These interviews were recorded by Paul Jenkins, a poet and researcher who was hired by the town of Greenfield in 1978 to write a town history. The resulting book, "The Conservative Rebel: A Social History of Greenfield, Massachusetts," was published by the town of Greenfield in 1982.
