The Quincy, Mass. Postcard Collection is comprised of 182 postcards. The postcards include views of landmarks relating to the Adams and Quincy families. Among the many churches portrayed in the collection, the United First Parish Church (“Church of the Presidents”), the interment place of two U.S. Presidents and their wives, is prominently featured. Quincy neighborhoods, schools, industries, and businesses are also represented. There are several depictions of the Thomas Crane Public Library, which include architect H.H. Richardson’s original 1882 library building.
