These plans are part of the Local History Collection at the Leicester Public Library. They are full sized architectural drawings related to the 1895-1896 construction of the Leicester Public Library at 1136 Main Street Leicester. The pink granite, Classical Revival style building was designed by Worcester Architect Stephen Earle and built by Norcross Brothers of Worcester.

The building is still in use as the Public Library in Leicester. It underwent a significant addition and renovation in 2017-2018. The columns, cornerstone, fireplaces, woodwork, and pediment detail shown in the drawings can still be seen.
